We have had some changes in our substitutes lately. Marielle started a new full time job working in the court system so she is no longer with us. Jamie found it was too difficult to come out to Transcona for part time work, so she is no longer with us. Many of you know Caren, who is the supervisor with the lunch program. Caren is working part time with us now, and we are so happy to have her. We are also happy to welcome Katia back as a part time substitute after her taking a couple of years off. Kim started with us after spring break. Kim also teaches first aid and swimming lessons, and does massage, so she is a very busy lady. Our newest substitute is Barbara. Some of the children know her a little bit as she also substitutes with Caren in the lunch program. We are grateful to all four of these wonderful ladies for filling in for us on sometimes quite short notice!
